Join us as we walk with Jesus through John's gospel for the next forty days.  You will marvel at the simplicity with which John records the events and conversations of Jesus' life.

John was an eyewitness to everything he describes.  Looking back on all he had seen, John writes, "we beheld His glory."  I think that is a theme to keep in mind as you read through this book:  look for His glory and how it is manifested in every scene.  It is just incredible to realize Jesus was God in the flesh, walking among us, teaching us truths about God and eternity. 

The Characters who enter and exit the story are well-known:  John the Baptist, Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman, the woman caught in the act of adultery, Mary and Martha and their brother Lazarus.

Underscore each time Jesus makes an "I am" statement and realize He is saying, "I have always been God, am God right now, and always will be God."  Relax and enjoy the journey through John!
